An undergraduate degree in the UK is typically 3 years. No idea if the 1:3 ratio is a steadfast rule but either way 12 years may not be required.

If you work for a large multinational they'll usually have some sort of tax equalization policy to ensure you neither benefit or lose out from a tax perspective when on assignment. Worth reading...

I had the BCG as a child and got a negative result from the skin test as part of my green card medical (twice in fact, as due to processing times the first medical expired) - so it doesn't always...

Millski - you're fine. The paper I-94 that comes with the I-797 will show the date that you're now permitted to stay until. When USCIS extend the petition they don't update the electronic I-94 record...

Another vote for Arnold's bread here - we tried lots of the supermarket bread aisle stuff and most were way too sweet, but the few Arnold's varieties we've tried so far (there are loads) aren't too...
