My wife likes the Bay of Plenty area, but I'm more concerned that it's more a retirement area?

Quality detailed advice . ....keep it coming! Many thanks. It does appear just outside Ham or in the Cambridge area seems to be more popular with the replies I've had so far.

We are still in the early stages of family debate. My wife is ultra keen on moving permanently to NZ, I am also keen, but cautious too.
I believe if/when we move, we will be seeking a permanent...

Auckland doesn't float my boat, the Hamilton/Cambridge areas interest me more.
