The KLIA airport has recently opened e-gates for foreigners with long term residency. I made enquiries at immigration and was told that it was possible they would add MM2H holders in the future....

I have never heard of a pet friendly hotel in Malaysia. In KL there are supposedly a few pet friendly restaurants but you may have to sit outside. You should check online and confirm before you...
