Re: Thoughts on moving from NS to BC

I'm making...

Re: Employment Opportunities in Halifax, NS

Fantastic, I've seen that Admiral have an intake course starting on the 13th of April - we might not be out there then but it's good to know there are opportunities available. Thanks for the info :)

Re: PNP: Skilled Worker - Help?

Brilliant, thank you very much for the info Amy - that's cleared a few things up for us. I was quite concerned about the possibility of a 10 week wait for a TWP from London as that really wouldn't...

Thanks for the reply Amy :)

I've applied to the NSNP with all of the above so will hopefully have my letter of support in the near future.

So I can actually just turn up at the airport with the...

Thanks for that, we really appreciate it. :)

Both companies are advertising now so hopefully there will still be some opportunities there in a couple months time when we arrive.

Do you know...

Re: Potentially moving to Halifax, NS

Jesus.

I'm only planning on spending $10,000 on a vehicle.
The thought of paying $6,000 for a years insurance on it is sickening - surely people just drive without insurance as a result?

I...

Re: Potentially moving to Halifax, NS

For a "car"? Not a 6L V8 Monster truck thing!?

I pay £380 for my little 1.3L Suzuki Swift here - just shy of $800 a year.
Now granted I will probably get something a little bit bigger...
