Checked my visa status today (a day after interview) in cEAC.state.gov "Visa Tracker". It says "Issued". Looks positive so far. But can I assume it is 100%through now?
I have resign from work asap...

In the interview today Officer told me "Visa is approved". hopefully the verbal communication wont change :-)

They told me rejection was not due to lack of Australuan ties but they were unclear...

Thanks for your response. I got similiar comments earlier as well.
Strangely my US employer, Capgemini says E3 visa rejection has never happended for them, and they think i have strong australian...

I have travelled to US on B1 visa in 2007 when I was working with Oracle. I was in bay area for 1 month. No I am not asylum seeker in Australia :) I migrated under skilled migration in 2010.

If thats how US consulate will think as well, then I guess only ties I can show is 1. Financial - property, bank account, superannuation 2. Parents - my aging parents have visitwf us 4 times in past...

Yea. You are correct about spouse and kids. My key ties in Australia is my brother ( bcos of him I migrates to Australia at first place) and property.

That sound positive to me. In my case, they asked for updated work contract with client details under 221(g) and later denied visa under 214(g) without even asking for proof for Australian ties.

I dont think thats the case, my IT skill is Big Data, which is among the top 5 skills in demand in IT. My employer is paying premium money for it. Moreover the rejection reason 214(b).

I did not got chance to present proof of Australia. The interview was over as soon as consular officer asked to me get updated employment letter with client location details , where i will be working...

Okay. In my case , i own property for 4 years. Hopefully, they see it long enough. I will re-apply in next 1 month or so with all proof for Australian ties and see how it goes.Will keep posted ....

Thats what i thought as well but at the same time, few of my friends got E3 with just 2 months of citizenship !! I guess it all depends on consular officer. He did not even ask me to prove any...
