Ah okay. Thanks for that. Best then to say yes to it, and then get all the court documents/transcripts and hope it shows it was minor and not a CIMT...with no drug offence, no theft, or property...

Yep, thats what I'm hoping and I thats what I asked in an email to them....but I got a template reply that told me to get the B-2.....

Yes you can transit with it, but if you are going on to Canada you need to be out of there in 90 days or you won't be readmitted to the US in future for holidays again as you technically did not...

I do have an interest in Engineering Geology....but a lack of experience! I've always just worked in Mining and Exploration. Would they be that short staffed that they would take someone on at entry...
