Chiming in on the medication cost (because the health insurance still has me bumfuzzled so I won't go there), a lot of us from Arizona and New Mexico pop down to Mexico and get quality health care...

We always use XE. They're great and you can send the money in a way that your US bank doesn't charge you a fee.

I had seen the double taxation agreements but you would not BELIEVE how that was explained to me by a supposed tax professional. I just knew that what he said couldn't be right.
