Re: Making a five? Ten year plan?

This was not pointed out to me before I before I applied for the WHV. The caution was for a class B substance, I was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A. I will tell them the truth.

Re: Making a five? Ten year plan?

I certainly did not declare as I was told I didn't need to by BUNAC or the like, who said I would need to declare for the USA but not for Australia. I realise now this is not may not be the case....

Making a five? Ten year plan?

Hello,

I come here seeking advice on a suitable migration path. I am a 22 graduate from an ex-poly with a 'Mickey Mouse' degree in a humanities subject. I have been back in the UK from an Aus year...

Re: Against all odds...

I'm guessing no one has heard of any case of a person with a similar caution being approved?

I have a friend with lots of family who are 'undocumented' over there (been there for 15 years) a few...

Re: Against all odds...

Thanks Ian. It seems my fate is sealed for life then. By telling the truth I would not only lose a lot of money but also face life time exclusion.

Re: Against all odds...

Thanks for that, I didn't realise it had to be a dedicated sponsor.

Well for starters it was a recently banned substance and which I believed to be a legal substance (which is why I asked to be...

Re: Against all odds...

I have googled it and can't find a whole lot of practical information. How do you mean overcome it? Like get it deleted off the PNC?

Re: Ambition...to call the USA home (split from Tom12's thread in the US Imm. Forum)

I am certainly not a drug seller or trafficker! I don't plan to lie at all.

Re: Ambition...to call the USA home (split from Tom12's thread in the US Imm. Forum)

The thing is I wouldn't be lying. I was in possession of them at the time I came into contact with police, but they were not mine and I have not taken them. I did say my circumstances were bizarre. ...

Re: Ambition...to call the USA home (split from Tom12's thread in the US Imm. Forum)

I think that's my only option Sally.

I think I may be in with a tiny, tiny glimmer of hope. I have been reading about the embassy associated medical exam, and there the doctor asks you whether...

Re: Ambition...to call the USA home (split from Tom12's thread in the US Imm. Forum)

Thanks for that. If I didn't have those on my record I wouldn't be able to smile wide enough because I would know that it is possible for me to legally move there.

Re: Ambition...to call the USA home (split from Tom12's thread in the US Imm. Forum)

Well I know that it is virtually a certainty I will be lucky to ever travel to the USA, and living there is about as likely walking on the sun. I know that its not a sprint but a marathon crawling...

Re: Ambition...to call the USA home (split from Tom12's thread in the US Imm. Forum)

Well seeing as I have done a mickey mouse humanities degree in many ways I am worse off than a person with no degree. I'm really open to anything but most STEM based MA/PHDs and other advanced...

Re: Ambition...to call the USA home (split from Tom12's thread in the US Imm. Forum)

I expected this kind of reaction when I began explaining why I was keen to move even though I have barely scratched the surface as to why. I am not so stupid as to think the majority of my time will...

Re: Ambition...to call the USA home (split from Tom12's thread in the US Imm. Forum)

I'm sure you're right about some Americans being jealous of those in London but that seems very odd to me. They have the option of being able to fly/drive to any of the major north eastern cities,...

Re: Ambition...to call the USA home (split from Tom12's thread in the US Imm. Forum)

I have a very long time ago when I was a child.

I understand how naive I must come across but my desire has been long burning and heavily researched. I'd say I have about the same chance as being...

Re: Ambition...to call the USA home (split from Tom12's thread in the US Imm. Forum)

What made you abandon your dream?

I definitely would consider returning to Australia for work as I have completed the required regional work for a second year. But being out there did not reduce...

Re: Against all odds...

I though this was what you were implying. If say only one of the cautions were to make it to the ACPO certificate, then I'm not sure I could go with the story that that is my sole caution. I would be...

Will this not be the same information that the local police has on file?

Re: Against all odds...

From my understanding (feel free to correct me) the SAR from the ACPO will contain the information that will be shown on the ACPO. This is the certificate I will need to present at my interview?

Re: Against all odds...

Hi Kimmy, Like I said the circumstances are bizarre but I do take full responsibility for my actions. I will pay for it for the rest of my life and likely see my ambitions unfulfilled because of it....

Re: Against all odds...

That was my first and only dealing with the police, ever. I won't detail the circumstances but it came but trying to assist them, no good deed goes unpunished. My research in cautions suggests this...

Re: Against all odds...

I thought as much. I fully expected to go for a medical examination as a condition of having the waiver approved, if I was lucky enough to be offered that. Do you know if a cannabis warning will show...

Re: Against all odds...

Hello materialcontroller, I have indeed been thinking it over and I am now strongly planning to apply for the B2 visitor visa sometime before the new year with a view to take a three week to a month...
