Passport number isn't written directly on the POE letter.
However it is probably on their database when they enter the POE details at the border, so it is most likely linked.

You may have to 'flagpole' to change the visa status also, I'm not certain, but it's highly likely.

Mine's been like this since last Wednesday, 6days ago.
Had an email today also that my application "has been updated"
Nothing's changed.
I'll wait another day or two then make some calls I think

MyCIC application status says "Closed"
Review of docs: "no additional documents needed"
A final decision has been reached "This application has been approved"

I'm not 100% but I'm quite sure they're BS'ing you...
Data protection and confidentiality dictates they tell nothing to no-one.

I just got 5171
Quota was up to 5000 for today's round.
They give out more wtn than are necessarily available, as back ups for people who fail criteria or drop out etc......

Yes they save, as long as you clicked "complete" on each bit, and there is a green tick.
The only bit left incomplete is the "Category"
Log in next round, select category, then click submit.
