Hi Dougaldon - nz immigration will tell you what medical you will need but I would imagine both you and your partner will need full medicals.

A job offer for March 2015 is great. you shouldnt have a problem - as Persephone said - you have to have started your job within 3 months of entering NZ and be in that job for at least 3 months.
