if your visa states settlement/cp (kol req) then you do fall under the old rules. once you arrive in the UK you can go ahead and take the KOL test and once you've passed you can go ahead and...

well now i'm not sure who to talk with, i've talked to 2 different people at the visa & immigration contact center and 1 told me i had to wait 5yrs, and the person i spoke with today told me 2 years....
