Online/distance learning ones aren't really respected these days.

Learn by doing/living.

Language is a large part of it, but also communication style.

Traditional East Asians will lie to save face not out of malice is an example.

I was working for EF and hours were 11-8/12-9.

SH is really Westernised and you can find most stuff from home already there.
I've been told HK is cheaper for luxury shopping though e.g. watches, electronics etc.
Be prepared for lots of stares.
