I'm really surprised that this question has arisen as Cyprus has for many years (long before Cyprus entry into the EU) given UK ex-pats the same annual increments as those in the UK.

If I was moving to Cyprus I'd rent out my property in the UK, this would more than pay for renting in Cyprus.

Make sure your lease/rental agreement is drawn up properly, if it isn't your tenants can walk away if and when it suits them.
