Yes I definitely agree that the shopping and culture over here isn't quite like that of the UK. I guess it's a change from what we've know. Although I have a few Victorian friends who have set up...

It looks really lovely, I'm big on outdoors activities, so that's a plus. I have heard that groceries are much more expensive in Tasmania - does anyone know if this is true?

I moved from Leeds to Darwin 2 years ago, after I finished uni. Now I'm packing up life on the mainland to move to Launceston for work.
