My parents filed for me (I'm over 21) and I don't expect to be moving to the US within the next 10/12 years.

In answer to your citizenship question, you can file an I-130 petition for a family...

Re: CEAC showing administrative processing when VO said it was approved no issues

So, after 21 weeks, my case status on CEAC has changed from REFUSED to ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING, dated June 26th.

Of course it makes sense my status was REFUSED as I technically was refused a B2...

I found this on the Belfast website and was surprised to read you can actually check the status of your visa waiver application online. It says you need a 'batch number' which is on the form given to...

Re: General Query re: Embassy Interview for B-2 Visa

Re: Contact for us visa dept homeland security

It means the consular officer can tell you anything they want but it doesn't mean it will happen. It's well-documented on here about how they can actually lie to you, in fact are allowed to lie to...

I-130 question

My Mom filed I-130 for me in May 2013 and received receipt notice shortly thereafter.

On the USCIS "check my case status" site, it still says Initial Review. Now, I know there is a wait of many...

Re: General Query re: Embassy Interview for B-2 Visa

How did it go with the lawyer? Have you arranged your B2 interview yet?

Wishing you good luck. I'm waiting on the outcome of a waiver application myself ;)
