Does anyone know if it is possible to transfer the accredited years from working in the UK to the German pension scheme?

I live in Germany between Krefeld and Kleve. Flat as a pancake and normally no extreme weather. Transport links good and Airport Weeze is brilliant for flights to London Stansted.
