Medicare is only if you are on a tourist visa. You will have to provide evidence that you have adequate health cover in place prior to your student visa being granted...

On a student visa you will be required to have your own medical cover - you will not be entitled to Medicare. All policies are different but with ours we had a 12 month wait before we could claim...

If you send the kids to private school you do not pay the standard fees, they have higher costs for dependents of international students which basically equal their standard fee PLUS the standard...

We are in Queensland. We pay approx. $7,000 pa for our 15 year old and if our PR isn't throught by the end of January we will need to pay approx. $3,500 pa each for our 5 year old twins to start Year...

Depends on the chosen field, but generally recent graduates have exemption from work experience requirements
