Have you looked at opening an HSBC bank account here which you can then transfer money to easily to another HSBC UK bank account (open when you get there). I think you still have to pay a transfer...

Have you thought about a live in job and be a carer for someone that needs help at home? Maybe an elderly person or younger person with physical problems and needs a 24 hr carer.

My kids joke if you want to see a Zombie go to Walmart! My youngest kid hates going there, so maybe he would suit the UK after all.

You might think my quite strange but I actually like food shopping and picking out the fruit and veg I want. My MIL in the UK never goes food shopping now and only has it delivered. I saw it all...

Since coming to Canada I have done a lot less walking and gained lots of weight. Luckily I got my act together and managed to lose all 25lBs recently.

I would miss being near a Costco, I know they have them in the UK but only in very selected cities! Although I would save a lot of money as I always end up spending too much there.

On the Island too, I was referring to the other provinces after BC that get really good. I lived in Calgary which I liked and my second son was born there, but its why too cold for me. Nice summers...

We went back two summers ago for five weeks and the kids liked the UK although my oldest said he wouldn't want to live there. My youngest said he would give it a go if need be and he loves Greggs! ...

That's funny because my husband said this could be the best 20,000 we have spent or the worst if we move. Who says money cannot buy you happiness!
