For that I will need a NIE, I guess...
So NIE first, resident bank account after that.
So far I have been focusing on NIE, proof of address and accommodation. Would that be the right thing to do?...

ok, here we are:
- the doctor should be my least concern, as we have international health insurance (private). Hope this will be enough for the authorities
- now padron and NIE.... looks like one...

Would it be right to say that opening an account in one of Spanish Banks and transferring a lump sum of say, 10 000 euro into it will definitely not qualify as proof of sufficient funds for 1ad+1...
