Your main gain is not paying any income tax in Qatar, but factor in that cost of living here is expensive, although your housing is provided. Time flies so planning for University early is sensible -...

Critical ages for your kids education - disruptive if you plan on staying for only 2 years - some good English schools but waiting lists at most- think carefully for your kids sakes

Schools in general are not great here for kids with LD.
The kids will need to take a Cognitive Assessment Test and based on their scores, will be either offered a place or be placed on the waiting...

Agree - Doha College (DC) has a good reputation, as does Doha British School (DBS) where our 4 kids go, with a good mix of nationalities and not too many arab kids. Teachers mostly from UK and speak...

Yeh definitely - they have experienced life and schooling in another country - they have met a whole different community of kids from many different parts of the world - its been a totally different...

yes - a work colleague said as much- just moved his son out of ACS into Park House - potentially even fewer school places for the rest of us waiting to bring our kids over to Doha
