I don't think we would want to spend more than $300 000 so we have savings to fall back on and preference would be semi-rural.



It really helps to get a good idea of living costs so thank you...

Interesting about the electricity dbd33 thank you. Delivery charges etc seems like a lot compared to the electricity you use.

We really do have a pretty low key lifestyle but partly that's because we have had to. No pay rises for several years, horrendous commuting costs etc. Our standard of living seems so much lower than...

We are open to all options but I have always lived by the sea and that's one reason why NB appeals. I think when we spend some time traveling it will give us a much better idea of where we would like...

No firm plans at the moment but we quite like the idea of somewhere like St Andrews NB. That's partly because it is by the coast but also because property seems quite a lot cheaper...
