I wasnt sure if I needed a re-entry visa stamped in my passport and I now realise I needed my passport stamped for re-entry to USA when I travelled to Canada last year as I had no permanent residency...

Hi. I have to travel to the UK tomorrow for a family emergency and this is the only time I can go (my mum has terminal cancer and has 2-3 weeks to live).

Thanks, I just called USCIS helpline and they recommended the same. I have made another appointment with INFO-PASS for 2 weeks time and hopefully then be able to get the stamp.

I am thinking I need to book another info-pass appointment and go with all relevant paperwork and ask for a I-551 stamp in my passport regardless if the lady in previous appointment said it wasn't...

I received I-797 NOA stating that my application for permanent residence has been approved and welcoming me to the USA.The notice date was September 23 2015.

Delivery confirmation for EAD + AP was 3/27/2015.
A little less stressed about I-751 but the EAD is really worrying! Will renew firs thing in morning. Form says $505 + $85 biometrics. I already did...

Yes I have filed all the correct paperwork for AOS.
And yes English is my first language. Whatever gave the idea it wasn't!
