i live in VA which doesnt expand Medicaid anyway through obamacare, so i know the Obamacare Tax credit given in my state isnt related to medicaid in any form, but...

i worked in 2015 & fallen sick last year, that is when i really needed any form of insurance which cost me a full year between hospitals overseas, but if it wasnt for the fear mongering & confusion...

from my understanding the Obama subsidies are advanced credit which one pays at year end through IRS filings if makes more money...i dont wanna join it but its confusing since each ACA agent tells me...

I worked 2015 but not 2016 as i had medical issues which were treated overseas, started Grad school in 2017, i didn't do any obamacare since i made less than threshhold to get it or even file taxes,...
