I would have preferred the Court of Appeal Judges listen to the evidence and sentence him.

That is not their role I know.

I am not saying he should have gone unpunished. I just didn't feel that...

I think someone had a word in the Judge's ear. Probably because Mr Cameron said recently that he had sympathy with his case.

My long term plan is to move to the US but they don't currently have a retirement visa, although one has been talked about. They do have an investment visa but that is due to end in 2015 I think....

Here I explain it better.

- I was given a Norwegian Tax Deduction Card. This tells your employer how much tax they must deduct from you. Mine says "ZERO".
- I get a Norwegian Surtax statement...

Well, I don't know about accountancy jargon but the Job was advertised at X, I accepted it at X and I receive X.

Income is credited to me "Tax Paid".

I am still required to submit a complete tax return each year.

Then I get a statement from HMRC which states ZERO tax to pay.

Each month I get a wage...

I don't avoid tax.

Do my tax return each year.

Not my fault there is a rule in place which says my tax liability is ZERO.

HMRC makes the rules, I just follow them.

What does me paying tax have todo with the government looking after the armed forces and public sector workers.

Even if they had the money they would rather spend it on overseas aid etc.
