Sorry JAJ but you are absolutely wrong. It is NOT necessary to file an N-600. Once you become a US citizen any child under the age of 18 automatically becomes a citizen and to get them a passport...

They definitely do not need an N-600. It is a waste of $600 (each!). Just get them a passport using your citizenship certificate as evidence. Also, if you become a citizen before their 18th birthday...
