ooh yes and with an amazing tumble dryer i can get the clothes turned around a lot quicker than here - I'd rather wear a top twice then forgo my chocolate!

yes in the suitcases. As a family of 4 that is 8 suitcases. 1 for clothes, 1 for food each. And hubby hopefully going again next week as long as the passport appears from the embassy to do another...

thanks all so much - I just bought some golden syrup yesterday as a matter of fact - i knew i'd need some but didn't know why! I'm going to go and buy some more now!

I am going stock crazy for our upcoming move. We fly over to Chicago in 4 weeks and I am intending to take some (lots) of food items to get us going so i don't have to spend the first week...

Does anyone have any experience of shipping their bottles of alcohol to the USA? In particular Illinois?
We understand that there are 2 taxes involved but we can't get to the bottom of how to...
