At the University where I work, international students are not heavily marked on there ability to use English, if you can understand the paper, then its acceptable.

I can not comment on the qualtiy of the education system in Australia, but i can comment on the quality in the UK.

Very useful information, thank you. My husband is a food store manager at the moment, and has an alcohol licensing certificate which I imagine would be similar to the qualification you've mentioned...

My husband would get a job yes, but it would only be part-time as he's primarily a stay-at-home Dad. 16 or 24 hours a week I guess on minimum wage - shop or bar work...
