180 visa stay

Due to some airlines like Qatar and Oman stating they are not receiving flights from India, some long term Brits are nearing their multiple entry 180 day max stay and are thinking if the worst comes...

Can a UK national who obtained their PIO/OCI status by marriage, purchase ANOTHER property or vehicle in their OWN name even AFTER their Indian spouse passed away?

Aadhar card& RBI

As a UK national with an Aadhar card obtained on a tourist visa, is it permissable under RBI rules to STILL maintain an Indian bank account after returning to the UK ?

Or does it still come under...

Just thinking of immigration when they see the entry/exit stamp over a short duration of 8 weeks . We had "heard " of another Brit that left India for a trip to Sri Lanka and was refused entry back...

Guess you were lucky, I just checked the Manchester flight for our dates, its come down a bit @£669. Guess we got lucky as we booked Oman air @£400 but 7.5hr transit in Muscat

Yes but even allowing for a 15% currency devaluation Qatar went up by at least 25% from previous years

Better news on £ v Rs - 84.44 top end at close on Friday :-) any idea of local Goan...

PHEW Booked our flights last week with Oman Air at £400 each ( ok there is a 7.5 layoverin Muscat ) but checked this morning and they are NOW £762 !:eek:

Thanks Bert no Air India from Manchester but looks like Oman is the best deal for us with a 7.5hr stop over both ways in Muscat, they do have an "exec"lounge however @app £22 pp which looks ok (ish)...

I looked at Finn air ( does caffeine shampoo help ;-) ) and they finnish (ha) 21 March and she who must be obeyed wants to stay another week or so. Thos Cook looks ok but luggage is crap...
