IcelandAir and Lufthansa were absolutely brilliant.

Air Canada would have been the easier option but they had an embargo on live animals in the first part of the summer, hence the separate...

Did you change the plug on your ham set? I'm a bit confused about the live and neutral lines. Finding a plug pin converter has been a nightmare as well! Ended up getting one on EBay from the UK....

We just had a marathon flight from Manchester to Halifax.
Meant to simply fly through Frankfurt and on to Halifax. Problem with the plane leaving Manchester , ended up missing connecting flight in...

Electrical items from the UK

Hello everyone,
I've had a Canadian electrician tell me he can simply wire an outlet to give me 240volts and I can just plug my UK appliances into it.
Does this sound logical at all?...
