Yes, my business is Ltd and I would sell the entire holding to the US company. My accountant maybe able to advise on the best option.

In essence then, I would remain an employee of a UK business...

I read on an immigration site that I can'r receive a salary from a US source but would my business once sold not still be a UK business and therefore able to pay me a wage?

H1-B visa petition. Transcription of Courses

I've been asked by the attourney handling my H1-B visa petition for a a transcript showing a list of the courses I took for my BSc Degree.

I took my degree in 1998 and don't have any paperwork...

Question Working as a contractor while waiting for Visa

I've been offered a position in US subject to a work visa. The company have offered to sponsor me and will apply with all the necessary paperwork beginning in April 2014.

That's a long wait for...

I guessed as much. But I do wonder how companies like Microsoft manage to get so many overseas workers in each year. A relative of ours says he is able to recruit a non US citizen within a few months.

I guess it would be employment-based immigrant visa as I'm not a US citizen.

I've recently had a very positive interview with a company in Seattle. The CEO there almost offered me the job on the spot.

The company have no experience of hiring foreign workers or any idea...
