The Fiance Visa is a K1 which i think you know.

The first step is the I129F this consists of several forms and relationship evidence this is then mailed to a lock box in Dallas I think. From here...

I got the NOA1 about 4 days after posting the I129 F and I am still waiting for the NOA2 I am now in to month 5 of waiting, it takes a long time.
