so $72000 less 28% tax $51840 less rent ($18000) $33840 divide by 52 = $650 still not a lot when you look at it, i make more than that here ,, divide that by 1.50 = £344:rofl:

rent with Canada either but if you guys are paying around $1500 a month rent that,s $18000 so $72000 minus tax at 28% leaves you $51840 minus $18000 for renting ...

the point in working it out was to see if its worth coming out ,, and flying half way around the world without doing the figures would be silly in my eyes dusty ,3 plane tickets for the family...

so if you make say $6000 a month after tax at 28% the lower band leave you $4320, rent average $1300 a month rough figure ?? leaving you $3020 divide by 4= $755 (£496) a week bills and food off...
