Currumbin would be an amazing place to stay, I have to agree there.
Make sure you get in early to feed the lorikeets. I would hire the car and drive the 90 mins up to Beerwah and visit Australia...

Queensland was supposed to be laid back luxury? The GC so far its a haven for piss heads and idiot drivers. Bikies are the normal people here i have no problem with those guys, i know a few of them...

Christmas in the GC is not christmas its just another day hurrying around robina or helensvale Westfield full of ignorant people feels just like the midlands but warm and sunny.

SNOW and decent drivers on the M1. I also miss the anticipation of the next wave of migrants from a EU country very much.
