I'm at what they originally stated $3778 including allowances... £500 up on the first offer, still a pretty hefty pay cut for me aswell :blink:

Im not sure to be honest. I might be speaking sh*te here but...I thought the overtime/allowances/housing/schooling are all part of the packages in Middle East so that the actual basic salary part is...

If they offer what they originally said ($3700 + $1000OT = £3077) I think I'll take that...it is about what I get in UK after tax. It will all be pocket money though as I'd be renting the house out...

I've basically told them I can't accept an offer that low (be ~£1000 a month down). They gave me the spiel about how its family status and they'll pay the kids schooling. As I'd be going on my own...

When they say the offers went out, its a little bit of bullsh*t to be honest. Its just an email saying Al Hosn are proceeding with the offer and want you to send in references...So nothing concrete...
