Re: A question about visiting the U.S

Re: New UK citizen wanting a fresh start in a new country

Holland's economy isn't doing well either.

Which country has a good economy and jobs avail may be a starting point. Staying in the UK may work out best esp with child benefit and tax credits

Re: First time visit to U.S. for self employed person with ESTA

Re: First time visit to U.S. for self employed person with ESTA

Which country? Do you have a criminal history?

being self-employed means NOTHING itself, so sorry, to ask so many questions, worrying about where you would be detained, = paranoid for some reason.

Re: First time visit to U.S. for self employed person with ESTA

Re: First time visit to U.S. for self employed person with ESTA

Even if the ESTA says yes, you can still be deported upon arrival in the USA, so you won't be "kept in dublin"

But why would the ESTA ever be declined if there is no further back story

Re: First time visit to U.S. for self employed person with ESTA

What silly advice, you can over stay and re-enter on the VWP you may be asked why you overstayed and you may not. Unless it was a very long overstay it's usually no issue.

Re: Moving to NYC

I've CL'd to look at places, don't look at SF if you think NYC is bad. $5,000+ for some 1 beds, with baths older than me + no washer and often no lift, some of the prices make London look cheap
