Been in Christchurch for over 4 years now and Im lucky in the sense that I get to travel extensively in NZ with my job.

Wouldn't want to live in any other city. Sure it has been through the wars...

I used PSS around 2.5 years ago when I moved from the UK to Christchurch.

They were pretty good and pretty competitive.

Once in NZ it was handled by NZ VanLines who were also pretty good.

I was offered a job with a short time frame so I applied for a temporary work visa to get me here fairly quickly and the SMC application is now in progress while I'm here working.

I left the UK on New Years Day and landed on the 3rd in Christchurch to take up a new job on the 7th.

The work visa came through.

It seems the delays were with Work & Income in New Zealand. Took a little gentle pushing but got there in the end.

Flight booked New Years Day !
