It's lovely to see some sun this morning, still very blustery and cloudy though, I quess that's why Auckland is so popular with the sail boating fraternity ?

Yes, it's lovely up there, not so quite as built up as Auckland but too far for us to travel every day in to the city, even during the day the main road through the peninsula was very busy, I imagine...

Yes I know there is more to Hawkes Bay in Napier, we toured around some of it :D Napier just happened to be where we stayed for a couple of nights as I wanted to see the architecture. All very nice...

We've been doing the same and have found that houses in areas where there are good schools are experiencing a price boom. One person we spoke to said their home had just been valued at $250,000 more...

As a tourist I wasn't too impressed, maybe it was the weather. Napier was lovely during the day but the beach is dangerous to swim off. It got a bit quiet after dark and there were kids hanging...
