I think you are right.
And I was pretty well disposed to being sympathetic to the poor under paid public servants at dmv.
And then I went there.
And now I feel differently.

For a place thats so derided by a lot of Americans, NJ is actually full of really good places to hike & cycle. Its one of the things I like most about it.

I have no recomendations local to St Louis - but in NJ I would recomend a place called Schoolies Mountain on the edge of Morris County.
You walk round a small lake, then down into a forest alongside...

As for unpleasant dmv experiences, a little tip might be - check out a different dmv office - also, you can see general wait times listed on google.
The dmv I used for 15 years in Randolph NJ...

I couldn't tell you what the profit margin is, but I can tell you that 12 years ago the CEO's of Aetna & Cigna (sp ?) each had a base salary of over $5,000,000 - this is not counting bonuses & share...

Another question would be - in theory I could purchase property with my own funds - among other factors, obviously the upside is theoretically a greater percentage of potential profit - the downside...

Charlottesville or Berkeley specifically in the past few months- and last year several towns where BLM had rallies - particularly Houston (?) where 5 officers were shot dead by a BLM protestor.
