Hi, I did DCF and at the end of my process, the lady at the embassy told me not to carry the X-rays as carry-on but just to check it in with my baggage because it will not be needed at the POE.

I just didn't change my last name. Much easier, believe me!

(In Belgium, keeping your maiden name is standard. If you want to change it, you have to ask for it etc. etc. It just takes more time).

Thanks for the chuckle, that was mighty funny. Well, I've been to the US Embassy here two times and you are right, it's not really THAT busy.

Why would DCF take 3 to 6 months nowadays? I'm in Belgium and the Embassy always told me it takes 5 to 6 weeks.
