Only roughly from memory:

Ranco starts at SAR60k for 1 bed for a year, going up to SAR135-140k per annum for a 4 bed bungalow.

Eid, 1 bed apartment is SAR100k per annum to over 200k for 3-4...

I did 14 years in the UAE up to 2010. As many have said, initially only came out for 2 years contract and didn't think beyond that. Only came back to UK due to non renewal of contract.......the way...

Why use banks at all to remit money to the UK - they are uncompetitive. The money changers available in the UAE quote extremely competitive rates and the money will be in your UK account in about 3-5...
