There are even exceptions to this - all tax guidance is general. If you fit precisely in one bracket that is where you sit for tax purposes, but without a case file for an individual it is difficult...

I have had the same thing since I first arrived in the US in 2004, I still patiently explain to people that even though I am British and not Australian the expression is pronounced Ozzie as in Ozzy...
