I assumed that would be the case. It’s always better to verify with people with more knowledge than myself.

I will leave the card as is and it’s unlikely that I will forget to...

Hi I have recently received my green card in the mail after being approved a CR-1 visa and entering the US about a month ago.

I was under the impression that its expiry date would be 2 years after...

Just a quick update on this thread, my visa was approved on Friday! I now get to go home to my family after 2.5 years of trying. It turned out to be a happy ending after all :)

It really is, especially after 2.5 year of trying. I will never be able to make up the time I have lost with my son and family but I am gonna give it a bloody hard go. ha ha
