Random Question, I already got my POE, on the Application form for stage 2, I put as citizenship UNITED KINGDOM AND COLONIES...What did others put as BRITISH CITIZEN is also an option? As my friends...

Thats weird, well mine just had the date and time it was submitted, it didnt have any future date by it

You didnt recieve anything asking for more info by 14th March? Or are you reffering to the timelimit they give you for submitting? You recieved a letter saying theyd recieved your application yeah?

Also to note for everyone, MYCIC website states the people checking the applications have been told not to reject anyone because of a wrong police check, out of date etc until AFTER April 1st 2013,...

Calm down!

I'll try and explain easier, youve got through stage 1 and recieved your Conditional Acceptance Letter, CAL. That letter is valid for 6 whole months.

When you applied for Stage 2...

Yeah its fine, your Certificate of acceptance is valid for 6 months, so dont worry about when my cic say the deadline is, you can simply start a new application as many times as you want up to your 6...

What people have said to me, is try and get a 6 month lease, but if not, get one with the option to sublet, therefore if you left canada or moved area after a few months you could let someone else...

I was thinking of using the Post office travel money card, as obv ive heard like withdrawing money etc costs in canada, so i could use it not only to transfer some money over with free withdrawals...

Totally Random, But I was just thinking, if you REALLY wanted to wait, and were happy to loose a few days, You could effectively get your Two years BEFORE you even left....Ie If you recieved your POE...

Is the POE all we get? I thought it was odd it doesnt say anything about what to show up with, ie the proof of funds and insurance etc, it says nothing about any of that

Thanks :-) Yeah I know its work permit, but i dont have to apply for a separate visa for the living there do I? this allows me to work and live for a year

Usually itd down to issues with the Employment, ie writing N/A instead of Not Applicable, or filling in too many of the boxes

Where have you heard this? If guess if any such thing were true then it would only affect those from round 3 waiting for iec acceptance, as those already accepted are now onto the MyCIC stage and not...
