Just do it yourself. Borrow a ute from a mate and go over to the customs to clear your goods yourself. It will approx. cost you around A$ 300

If you look at USA, Houston for instance, you can buy a fantastic house for around 150K (Oz at leat 800K for the same house) and shopping and other costs of living are not even one third of the costs...
