I'll figure this process out myself. It's unfortunate more people here aren't more helpful, especially with new members who've never done this before.

The bottom line is I'd love my...

Re: I-130 visa approved from NVC. Now what?

I swear, I get a jerk reply every time I ask a question.
Forgive me for not stating every single step we've taken. I was only looking for some support.

I think I'll leave this message board,...

Re: I-130 visa approved from NVS. Now what?

So many things to remember!
We got another email today saying the NVC has everything and basically we just need to wait for interview and medical...

I-130 visa approved from NVC. Now what?

We are now just waiting for notifications for interviews and medical appointments. I guess we just wait to hear anything? No communication in the interim I guess? We started with an I-130 to bring my...

Re: DS-230 question (Offense/Crime charges)

I work as an accountant and deal with the IRS and it's the same. I'd much rather give too much info than too little. I think I've got that part down pat! :)

Re: DS-230 question (Offense/Crime charges)

I'll never understand why on this message board someone asks a question and they get an answer they never asked in the first place, or some advice that has nothing to do with what the person needed....

Re: DS-230 question (Offense/Crime charges)

I'm sure they take into account the time frame in which the offense occurred. Especially if it was before the person was 18.

I found this Wiki site that explains different offenses that would or...

Re: DS-230 question (Offense/Crime charges)

I realize that. One their website it has fluctuated between 5-6 months for an average visa that we applied for.

My REAL issue is the question I referred above. Do you have any advice about that?

DS-230 question (Offense/Crime charges)

I *think* we're nearing our process ending (I hope!) We got a letter saying they needed more information based on a question on the DS-230. My husband checked the "yes" box that asked if "charges,...

Re: Moving my husband from Wales to Texas

Ha! He's poked around a few times. We are up for all sorts of things and meeting new people. I imagine he'd be ok if I found a group of people in our situation to hang out with. :)

Re: I-130 documentation to prove martital relationship
