Well i have been taking driving lessons here in Edinburgh for a few months.We are moving to Vermont in the New Year,assuming hubby gets his visa in Nov! If so we will be flying out New Years eve :)...

No i didn't pay for it,was just meaning if i had an accident in the months before i started work then i would have been in trouble.It just made me realise what a risk i had taken by not being covered...

Yes i have lived in VT before and walked on ice to work,i had insurance but luckily no falls!! not on ice anyway!

No we are both in UK still,the Spouse visa has not been approved yet-we are just doing the homework for health insurance as we hope to fly out at New Year if all goes ok.He has his medical next...

Thanks Rene and Holly.He is going to call th surgery tomorrow and arrange to get the first MMR vaccinantion before the medical exam.He had a tetanus recently so that's ok.
