This is exactly where I was coming from! I didn't mean I don't compare (of course I do or did) but I did try to do it quietly and definitely didn't go about loudly telling everyone how much better...

When I say I earn more I'm not comparing apples with apples. I have a better job here! Moving from rural Cornwall to Auckland the opportunities are better ( as you would imagine!). :)

Mark, luckily for us our local New World stocks St Austell breweries, so we regularly partake in a Tribute (or two!)

At the moment we are on tank water so don't pay any water rates, but when we were on the mains supply we paid the same per year here in NZ that we used to pay per month in Cornwall.
