Do you think that after having the sputum results (that took loooong 60 days) negative they can ask for another batch of TB tests or these will be enough? :confused:

Yeah, last news on ecas was on May (start processing your application). Nothing about 1st medicals or "furtherance request"...

I don"t care about ecas, the maple leaf stamped will be enough!

When did your 2nd medicals arrive? Our results of Medical furtherance were sent almost 2 weeks ago, searching the web I read it will take approximately 4 weeks to have "medicals...

My husband had sputum tests negative as well and the DMP sent them on Sept 28. We are with all our fingers crossed!

Yep, that's exactly what the doctor said, the scar will be there, same way... I guess they want to make sure that it is not some disease that is spreading. The smear gave negative for the 3 samples,...

My husband had the sputum tests done, we are waiting the results. I read it is easier to produce some sputum, if you drink plenty of liquids the day before, specially milk. Sleeping without a pillow...

I did medicals last June and just got a letter from Ottawa saying:

"Sputum smears and cultures for Mycobacterium Tuberculosis, taken on three consecutive day and incubated for 6-8 weeks....
