Yes I am Bev, but I have a terminally ill family member in the UK so wouldn't be able to be the main applicant, but that could come later.

Me again...when I run through the visa options tool and put in my husbands credentials it comes up with an Essential skills work visa option which does not state an age criteria?

Thank you, its a bit confusing as the recruitment consultant has told him he has placed people in their 60's as long as they are temporary visas and not for residence?

My husband did his registration application last year and while he is currently UK registered too there was no fastrack option for him either it seems... and he needed to do all the character refs...

Yep... he got it wrong....he failed to realise that pay was fortnightly and thought that the fortnightly pay was what he would earn monthly!!!! Phew, looks much better on the new figures!!!

I guess we'll need to explore the return on a $400000 investment to see how this will offset the rental costs....anyone got any idea of savings...
