i need little bit of clarification here,

1) what do you mean by "Her Card"?
do you mean Her Green Card or Her Citizenship

2) how long did it took him to get Work Permit?

thanx for such a prompt reply.. i looked around and found out that Green Card Holder can marry a non-USC and get them green card- but process is lengthy.

don't save OPT for later, you will get another one (i'm about 90% sure. There is myth surrounding around OPT that you get only once)...

file OPT as soon as you graduate, and once you get...

Hi,

I don't think there will be any problem there...

1) File for PT (Practical Training) which will ensure you a legal status for 1 year + i will also give you right to work full time...

Almost 2 years ago i applied for Canadian Immigration (After Jan 1 2002)... unfortunately CIC rejected my case for Permanent Residence as a skilled worker.
